Zone 5 gardening comes with its own challenges. Every Year I add some new vegetable varieties to my collection. Some of these varieties have been growing in my zone 5 gardens for 10 years.     That pepper list warms my heart. You mentioned a few I never heard of but sound amazing. I grow a spectrum of pepper color and heat; always glad to learn of new varieties to try.

    Marketmore cucumbers in Pittsburgh has never done well for us. National pickling has done really well.

    Colorado Springs here. I have Hopi blue corn, pinto beans, red beans, zucchini, cumamelons, dipper gourds, Minnesota midget cantaloupe, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and jalapeños in my backyard garden.
