Tropical Botanical Gardens in Florida Called Sunken Gardens, St Petersburg, FL

The Sunken Gardens in St Petersburg, Florida is a beautiful tropical place to visit while in the area of Tampa, Clearwater, Sarasota, and St Petersburg. It feels like a large tropical rain forest and has flamingos, parrots, turtles, waterfalls, coy ponds, and lots of palm trees and tropical flowers. This place would be amazing for a small wedding; in fact we saw chairs set up for a wedding on a small pavilion in the middle of the whole place. The place is so big that I think we did a quarter mile lap on their walkways. The coolest part was how cheap it was to get in, something like only ten bucks.

Very cool, but it’s a shame the birds are in cages.

This is the most beautiful garden I’ve seen in florida. It’s incredibly lush, and densly planted with all kinds of tropicals, some very unusal and exotic. Theres so much always in bloom

I didn’t know Tampa was that tropical. Coconut palms maybe grow there now? The birds in cages is a downer and I don’t see the interest in birds behind prison bars.
