Socalocavore – The Market Garden

The premier episode of Socalocavore explores the backyard market garden of San Diego resident Paul Reeb. In addition to a tour of the vineyard and vegetable garden, we learn how his integrated greenhouse and fishpond recycles water while providing nutrients for the plants and clean water for the fish. Going beyond edible landscaping, this small but bountiful garden is even able to supply produce for local restaurant Tender Greens.

Nice, Paul’s garden is beautiful! I love the bluegills in the aquaponics. We are going to have to try that because the bluegill wont eat the crayfish and tadpoles like tilapia do.
