  2. Donna K Kasper on July 30, 2019 at 2:29 pm

Also add some under cabinet lights..will really brighten. You’ve done a great job!

  3. Jodi Jarvis on July 30, 2019 at 2:30 pm

If you want to learn to cook watch old episodes of Rachel Ray 30 minute meals. Final rearranging looks best.

  4. Green Rhonda on July 30, 2019 at 2:32 pm

Found your channel today, you are definitely a friend in my head. Lol I love your personality and how authentic your video is. New subscriber here

  5. Amanda Weeks on July 30, 2019 at 2:33 pm

Only just seen you. I’m a new subscriber in the UK. I would love to cook in cast iron but I have a back condition so can’t lift them which breaks my heart. So definitely keep using them if you still have them. My teenage son has told me he would want to have them when he gets his own home as he loves how I cook and how it tastes and no one else’s pans taste the same. Lol xx
PS, I love your kitchen. It’s given me so many ideas for my own home, and I love that you are honest about spending. There are so many channels that seem to cost a fortune to do so really end up disappointing me.xx

    Naan bread freezes great

  7. LindyTN on July 30, 2019 at 2:33 pm

I cook with cast iron. I grew up with my mom cooking in it and learned to cook in it. Then I married and moved out and went with the non stick. Then several years later, for some reason, I decided to pull out my cast iron to just scramble some eggs. Holy cow. Yes there is a huge difference in the taste. Now, I always used cast iron for frying, roasting and baking. I never did fry in my stainless steel. It always stuck. I use stainless for sauce pots only. For boiling. Then I discovered enameld cast iron dutch ovens. And use them for a lot of things now. Like turnip greens, green beans, white beans, pinto beans, beef stew, soups, tomato sauces, etc. So much better than the stainless cooking.

You are so sweet, thanks for sharing your helpful videos

  9. Debra C on July 30, 2019 at 2:35 pm

I too am always moving things on my kitchen counters. The Naan bread from Aldi freezes very well. It is so good! They sell some sauces at Aldi that are very good too if your family likes Indian cuisine. The Naan bread is so good served with them.

How did the new outlet replacements from Lowe’s work?

  12. Tracy Hoffman on July 30, 2019 at 2:39 pm

I like the wax Warmer there. But it looks good out of the way. Either way. Hey what about the scales? Would they fit there? I love lowes!!

  13. Bianca Worth on July 30, 2019 at 2:39 pm

I’m subscribing ❤ I love your kitchen, but for me you don’t talk enough…hahaha ha. I could listen to you speak all day long. I love your accent. Also Naan bread is usually eaten with curries. We eat them alot here in th UK. They’re part of the Asian cuisine or Indian as I think you say in the US.

  14. BARBARA SALLEY on July 30, 2019 at 2:40 pm

Day 2 rearrange looks really good. You are too cute and have a flare for decorating. Very well done. I like the mixer close to canisters and new location of the microwave.

  15. shawn170204 on July 30, 2019 at 2:42 pm

I love all your stuff but the fact is your kitchen is small and you need space I’d say get rid of all the unusable stuff like anything decor that just sits and takes up space. I used to be all about the decor but over time I find it unnecessary clutter and let the things I love stand out like for instance your mixer, Keriug and glass jars that are all useable functionable and so beautiful to admire without everything else cluttered around that takes away from the beauty of your small appliances and canisters.

  16. Tracy Hoffman on July 30, 2019 at 2:42 pm

Where would you put your tiered tray? I talk a lot too. So we are Instant best friends!! Lol….I love the red plate…. so stunning. You need a pop of red! Great buy on the double sided rae Dunn large canister!! I love it. I’m all about getting double uses out of everything. Love the glass Amber bottles. Where did you get those?I love lambs ear. I don’t have any. I would love to have some. If you got those at Marshall’s , I’m hoping I still can get them. I love them, the amber jars!!

  17. Donna K Kasper on July 30, 2019 at 2:45 pm

Put strong magnets on the back of your cutting boards and stick on the frig. Then angle your microwave which will open up more space.

  18. Cela Whitney on July 30, 2019 at 2:45 pm

wouldn’t the microwave be more convenient to open on the other side of the stove?

  19. Carol Thomas on July 30, 2019 at 2:46 pm

Love your kitchen. I’m not a decorator, but I think the changes you made are just fine.

  20. B2 Serl on July 30, 2019 at 2:49 pm

New appliances don’t last as long as older appliances in my experience 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

  21. Kathy Binkley on July 30, 2019 at 2:49 pm

Hi April, I am new to your channel and I liked the way you moved the things around. I was so curious where you were going to place your microwave because I to have the same issue moving it around. Mine is huge and silver. I hate my microwave being on my counter, but have no other place to put it. I did get an ideal from you. I’m very frugal, so I’m going to look for me a small white one like yours. I like where you put the canisters, however, I think the little chicken feeder would be really pretty where you put the canisters and put some cute little white plates in it. I love your backsplash and love all the white. Looks very refreshing and clean.

  22. quilterinthewoods62 on July 30, 2019 at 2:49 pm

I like the final arrangement also. I wonder about canisters, how about the 2 large ones on the outside n the smaller ones in the middle! You have great taste n love ur Rae Dunn!

  23. Tmg on July 30, 2019 at 2:53 pm

Love, love, love!! So creative and beautiful! I vote leave the wax warmer by microwave. Great rearranging (I do that all the time). You and Bryce are so precious! Nothing like mama and her child! Blessings!

  24. Linda Keyes on July 30, 2019 at 2:53 pm

I’m not a great fan of that pottery so for me I like your glass can- isters out

  25. LindyTN on July 30, 2019 at 2:54 pm

Love all those cutting boards. Where did you find them? I like them a lot. And the lantern wax warmer. And the dough bowl. :o)

  26. Linda Pedigo on July 30, 2019 at 2:58 pm

Love everything including your accent (like mine) and the cute little microwave.

  27. Sandra Hammons on July 30, 2019 at 2:59 pm

Thanks for the tour. I noticed you mentioned Rae Dunn. I was in Marshals recently and found they sell Rae Dunn cheap. So if you have a Marshals near you , you can find it there. It does sell out fast because people buy it up and resell it online for a lot more.

  28. Mark Mino on July 30, 2019 at 2:59 pm

like the microwave back where i was…. it was perfect for the space.

  29. Tracy Hoffman on July 30, 2019 at 3:03 pm

Girl. I love your white mixer.. I love it the way you have it now!!! It looks like clean lines. Sorry for leaving all the comments!! I was just do exited…

  30. Kristi Leigh on July 30, 2019 at 3:04 pm

I really like the way you rearranged! I’m with you on the Rae Dunn stuff- I love it but I’m not spending a fortune and will only buy it in stores. I love your style!

  32. JMLawhead on July 30, 2019 at 3:07 pm

Omgosh! Those outlet covers are genius!!!
    Another great tip. Thank you.
I love before and after videos.👍 and I definitely prefer the jars above the stove.

  33. Just Wondering on July 30, 2019 at 3:07 pm

I’m doing all this the texting the phone with internet I like Grandma so I am a grandma so this is new so I don’t know if you still look at these videos cuz I noticed it was the 18th on their insteaf of 2019 , but with all that awesome white you have in Black if you can find a special place on that wall that red plate would look awesome it would just get a splash of color and it would go so well the black and white. Cuz when I was young back in the day well like in the 50s hey Dad the black and white Checkers on the floor and everything else was white and red I just thought I’d throw that out there since you have such a love for that plate and the kids could see it when they come in when they visit

  34. pbear 2018 on July 30, 2019 at 3:08 pm

Are you from NC? I have heard that southern draw all my life. Love ALdi by the way.

  35. natasha darling on July 30, 2019 at 3:09 pm

Nay put maybe some greenery 🌿

  36. Linda Martin on July 30, 2019 at 3:11 pm

No more than you use the microwave I would store it, and the bread box is too big if your aim is for space. No wax warmer. Everything taste better using cast iron. Store your mixer too. Your counters will look more simple.

  38. KGar12 on July 30, 2019 at 3:13 pm

Your kitchen is very pretty. Try arranging your canisters with the two large in the middle and a small one on either side. It also looks nice to have a folded kitchen towel draped over your Kitchen Aid mixer bowl. It makes it a little more decorative. I would think that the flat bread would freeze well. I would try it in a freezer bag. That type of bread is served at Indian restaurants. How did you like it?

  39. Just Wondering on July 30, 2019 at 3:14 pm

It looks good like that with the towels on top of the microwave you did great job, it looks really good

  40. MommyOnaBudget Lia Goossen on July 30, 2019 at 3:14 pm

OMG! I want that you’re special plate! Just joined today… loved it

  41. Tracy Hoffman on July 30, 2019 at 3:14 pm

I love the retro feel of the microwave! Love the canisters. Are they hard plastic and not glass?

  42. Charlotte Shifflet on July 30, 2019 at 3:16 pm

Really like the way you have it rearranged at the end. Your kitchen is really pretty. Great job!!! See you in the next one.

  43. Gina Reale on July 30, 2019 at 3:17 pm

  44. jean george on July 30, 2019 at 3:20 pm

Enjoyed your tips, especially the light covers

  45. Anthony and Candace Sanchez on July 30, 2019 at 3:22 pm

No keep the tier plates on the table I love that as a center piece!!! And where did u get the curtains??

  46. Betty Stenger on July 30, 2019 at 3:23 pm

I like with the glass warmer.

  47. shawn170204 on July 30, 2019 at 3:24 pm

I used to have a microwave on the counter but when we renovated our kitchen I bought the over the stove with built in exhaust fan and love it. Maybe if your replacing your stove take a look to see if it’s possible to put one up over top ? I dunno 🤷‍♀️ just N idea. But you have a nice clean kitchen and I like the black and white farm style you have.

  48. shelby shaw on July 30, 2019 at 3:25 pm

Adorable kitchen! Maybe move the wax warmer elsewhere, lean the cutting boards against the wall to cover the plug outlet and switch the bread box with the utensil holder on other side of your stove.

  49. Tracy Hoffman on July 30, 2019 at 3:27 pm

Cast iron seasons its self over time. You are supposed to just wipe it out. Sure you can put a griddle type on your stove. Oh those bread boxes.I love love love. Move the scales. Were they expensive? The bread boxes? Everything should be practical. I like it now. Open. Iove the hood shiplap…. I love the clear glass canisters. I would use the chalkboard black labels on your clear canisters and write what it is. It would make the black pop agsinst the white shelving. We dont have an Alder? I don’t know how to spell it. you can freeze bread if you are not gonna eat it right away.

  50. PossumLady8262 on July 30, 2019 at 3:28 pm

I enjoy your videos so much. Then the lil part where Mama and Bryce sang…loved that!!! ♡
I cook with cast iron all the time…food just tastes better! ♡
