Outdoor Tool Storage Unboxing and Assembly

Outdoor Tool Storage Unboxing and Assembly

This project is a pretty simple one. I bought this Outdoor Tool Storage Shed for my yard tools. In this video I’ll unbox it, assemble it and stage it in place on the side of my house.

I am 59 years old, thought I would have to bribe my son’s to help put this shed up, but after watching your video, I now know exactly what I have to do, and I can do it all my self ! Very good video, the ending with the twin you yapping, was funny. I am inspired, I bought 2 of these Suncast sheds from canadian tire last week, I have the knowledge and confidence to go outside and start putting them together.

Hi Lou, it is good to see your video. What was that strange tool you were using? It was the first tool that you had in your hand. Was it a large size Allen wrench?

  6. Diana Campanella on September 11, 2022 at 6:17 pm

I got that shed too. I spent, literally, all day on it and it’s not complete. Why? Because nothing was aligned. The side was bowed so i couldn’t fit the left side in correctly. The bottom latch doesn’t go through the hole provided and the right side hinges don’t wrap around the designated area so the screws don’t go all the way in. What a freaking nightmare! And I bought 3 of those and don’t even want to open the other boxes.

Hey buddy, another great video! Maybe I missed it but what is your other character’s name? Love the interactions you are able to capture by using that technique. Another home run Lou!

I’m trying to figure out what they look like inside and how much stuff I can put in them. Not many videos show the inside so that I can get a visual perspective to help me decide. Which shed is this?

Loved the video. The shed is that easy to put together. Just a tip from snowy Michigan: Put some 1or 2 inch blocks under the floor. Then set the shed on top. If you get snow, and the shed isn’t raised up, your doors won’t have clearance. Once raised, you’ll be able to get the snow shovels out.

Do you think a normal size push mower would fit inside this shed? We just bought it (the shed) and have not assembled it yet, I’m nervous it may not fit length wise. Your thoughts?

Thank you for the information on how to put this together. I was looking for a tool shed, but was not sure as to what to purchase. After watching your (very funny) video, I clicked on your link and purchase the shed online. My wife and I will go to a nearby Home Depot to pick it up in a couple of hours. Thanks, again, man!

  29. Aurora Abril on September 11, 2022 at 6:53 pm

Can I add shelfs to this vertical storage?

  30. Eric Norris on September 11, 2022 at 6:54 pm

Aren’t you worried that the Florida Thunderstorms will blow the shed over?? I have thought about getting one for my house but I am wondering how to anchor it to keep it from flying away.

  31. Joel on September 11, 2022 at 6:54 pm

Lou, you skipped the 2 hardest parts of the shed, and the reason that I sought out this videol…. The Hinges, and the metal strip on the roof…you didn’t even show it! urrrrrgggggg

  32. Lauren Stone on September 11, 2022 at 6:54 pm

Awesome video it definitely will help me as I just purchased mine today waiting for it to get shipped! I had a question, I’m trying to see if I can store a bike or 2 tops inside this shed. Do you think it’s possible to hang a vertical bike rack? Think it’s sturdy enough?

  35. iBelieveInGod on September 11, 2022 at 6:58 pm

  40. Sidhartha Sondh on September 11, 2022 at 7:03 pm

Big Lou, just a question about the base. Is it really necessary? Was looking at the installation guide online and it says either wood or concrete base. Is that really needed? Thanks!

  41. Ding Dong on September 11, 2022 at 7:05 pm
