Chris Oyakhilome (Nigeria) is a television host, pastor and writer. He is the President of Believers’ LoveWorld Incorporated and is also known as Christ Embassy International.
Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (or Chris Oyakhilome) was born on the 7th of December 1973 in the home of Tim Oyakhilome as the first child. After his primary and secondary education, he attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained a BSc in Architecture.
AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. Oyakhilome He is also a recipient of an honorary divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was earlier married to Anita Obhodaghe. They have two children.
Chris Oyakhilome Ministry
While still in school at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began to get involved in the ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship currently Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at that time known as Youths For Christ.
YFC expanded and was the largest of the fellowships on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church’s headquarters are in Lagos. Believer’s LoveWorld today has millions of followers and associates all over the globe.
In the context of the 2002 miracles, BLW became Africa’s most prominent Christian ministry. The broadcast stopped in May of 2004, following the former president of Nigeria- President Olusegun Obasanjo declared that miracles should be ceased by the churches.
Pastor Chris’s Ministry has four arms that include publishing ministry to heal the sick, teaching ministry on television, as well as television ministry for TV. The InnerCity Mission to children is a religious-based nongovernmental Organisation. The NGO was started in 2005 in order to help vulnerable, weak orphaned kids around the world.
Through participatory and sustainable programs The foundation aids children and families who are in need. This includes programs for child development, childcare, strengthening family programmes as well as InnerCity Mission for Children School.
Trauma Care International Foundation
The Trauma Care International Foundation was created to enhance the health and life expectancy in local communities and nations.
