  2. Texas Nana on June 27, 2019 at 1:34 pm

Here where I live, we don’t plant until the mesquite bushes are budding. Gotta love Mother Nature!

  7. Sarah Barber on June 27, 2019 at 1:44 pm

Hey there love your channel just startedwatching recently. I had to leave comment on this one right away for your comment on the blue lake beans. We here in the Sandhills of NC have used this seed I would say more than any other bush bean. I know this from selling it when I worked at the local feed store and still get my seeds there because it’s so cheap to buy by waying it out. It produces prolifically through many weeks as long as you pick consistently. Carrots don’t do well for us planting this late though and we have to start them under boards in Feburary to beat the heat. Love your channel, farm and subjects for DIY

  8. Taunya W on June 27, 2019 at 1:45 pm

I agree! Roundup and anything with that is horrid. Glad you don’t use it! So sorry about your glasses ;). I lost mine too…it is a sad day.

  9. Cog Hill Family Farm on June 27, 2019 at 1:47 pm

Hope y’all are having the BEST day EVER!! Check out all my gardening videos here: https://goo.gl/MGa7ao

  11. Hickory Root Farmstead on June 27, 2019 at 1:49 pm

I feel the exact same way when I finally break my sunglasses. Sad sad day.

  12. James Couch on June 27, 2019 at 1:50 pm

    I ABSOLUTELY Love your ethics… Your Sustainability…..

  22. Sunrise seven on June 27, 2019 at 1:59 pm

Totally agree about roundup!! Should never be used.

  23. marymonk on June 27, 2019 at 1:59 pm

Boiling hot water and cayanne pepper sometimes works. Next time y’all make pasta or rice save the water add a bunch of cayanne pepper and disturb the ants and then pour it out fast as possible. Spinosad is organic but I always try the boiling water and cayanne first. It works on the first pour about 70 percent of the time …you may have to repeat. I would not do the boiling water if you have plants in it. Ants are awwwful here!

  24. Kathy Roberts on June 27, 2019 at 2:01 pm

Cog Hill Family Farm I hate roundup we have no bees here

  25. Bryan Simon on June 27, 2019 at 2:02 pm

Lol the Utoobz put a roundup ad on before this vid. Wrong audience YouTube!!

Now I gotta plant asparagus and impatiently keep eating grocery store asparagus for the next 2 years. Thanks for making that look delicious. 😂

  34. Dennis Putthoff on June 27, 2019 at 2:12 pm

  35. edward james on June 27, 2019 at 2:13 pm

SUGGESTION: I put Vaseline in a thick ring around the ankles of my boots and then the ants can’t climb up. 🙂
