    These tips are not the greatest. It assumes ALL perennials need the same soil requirements. For example, English lavender does not need peat moss. It can grow on rocky (well drained soil) with poor nutrients. 
    Many other plants also prefer rocky, poor soil nutrient areas. Try again.
