I love the vanity countertop. Is it marble or contact paper?

  2. Sheri Kwong on October 7, 2019 at 3:51 am

I feel like since the tile walls in the tub are already patterned, the shower curtains are just overkill. There’s no focal point. There’s too much going on. The flooring’s tile shape doesn’t match the wall tiles either. Omg… There’s too much wrong with this… I can’t even go on…

This is completely wrong. There is too much sticking out… as an active Flipper, to make bathroom spaces larger than they really are you must, use floating shelves, flat mirrors, see through shower glass doors and actually use the white grout. Just because this is HGTV doesn’t make it true. Also use ceiling and flat mirror lights. A chandelier will make a space feel small…

Joanna and Chip. I don’t have a TV so never knew you guys before I spent 33 days in the hospital this summer. Got hooked on your rehab site. since then, I have thought about your quality rehabs, esp since I had to rehab my bathroom. Nice to see you online.

I made a decision with the ceiling in my 1921 house to put some sort of beadboard on the ceiling after watching the video. Thanks

  12. Rosemarie Chibi on October 7, 2019 at 4:05 am

Folks, these are ideas not laws. It’s to be creative. Your choice is not necessarily someone else’s.

  13. Ruh roh !! on October 7, 2019 at 4:07 am

Maybe its my phone? This room feels dark and small and that type of light casts weird shadows….

  14. Left Out Of The Conversation on October 7, 2019 at 4:09 am

  17. Shirley Powell on October 7, 2019 at 4:10 am

I’m sorry but if you have a small space putting a whole lot of stuff in it makes it look cluttered. A chandelier in a small space like that look ridiculous.

  19. mybestideas1 on October 7, 2019 at 4:12 am

That bathroom is a mess. It does not have anything that glues it, the eye jumps from one thing to another.

  20. Jeanette Kniebusch on October 7, 2019 at 4:12 am

Interest w wood ceiling draws the eye up also so thats a nice element there. The shelf on the window is nice when they do that if you made it just a smidge bigger you could put decorative bottles or photo frames I was thinking

  21. Hope Noneya on October 7, 2019 at 4:12 am

The foo foo shower curtain was a no bueno for me, wouldn’t matter what bathroom.

  22. Rafaela Rodriguez on October 7, 2019 at 4:13 am

  23. Drea Mc on October 7, 2019 at 4:13 am

    The grout is gross.

  24. RPG G on October 7, 2019 at 4:14 am

The black flower is totally out of place there plus it will only accumulate so much dust and moisture definitely not practical. The tile looks so busy to me to be honest and very distracting. I am very confuse about the shower curtain as well. Love the mirror! over all there’s seems to be mixed signals just some tweak here and there will do the trick 🙂

  25. Maria calo on October 7, 2019 at 4:14 am

Very nice but l would take black flower n put another shelf

Looks like an old tired bathroom.

  41. Edster on October 7, 2019 at 4:40 am

you think this is a small bathroom?? Mine is 1.5 x 1.5 meter

  42. Yenice swift on October 7, 2019 at 4:42 am

I bot a couple waffle shower curtains before but this design is very original. The diamond waffle blends in geometric designs, very creative. The texture looks and feels great and the color is a very bright white which makes it look luxurious. The fabric is soft but sturdy. These metal holes and hooks serve well too. Simply Love this shower curtain.

  45. Thrifty Jack on October 7, 2019 at 4:43 am

The only thing I learned from this is I don’t care for any of the design features except the light! Thanks for sharing this actually do I know what to avoid.

  46. M J on October 7, 2019 at 4:45 am

    A tips above a toilet?! 😑

  50. Lisa Lawrence on October 7, 2019 at 4:50 am

I really wish that she wouldn’t take historic properties and remove those features which make it unique to its time period… (frosted French interior doors removed, Etc.) Modernization of a place is fine, as long as the historic features are respected. I lived in Waco for many years and see this repeated in her projects – such as this home from the 1920’s – and it just really bothers me.
