Dollar Tree Hack ! Disposable Diaper to Super Soil !!!

I decided to finally replant my sunflowers I purchased from DT a month ago and get them ready for the outdoors. I saw a Hack online to take a Disposable Diaper and create a super moisture rich soil. So Here is my version of it. I will do an update video thru out the summer to show you how it is doing!!

I used Miracle Grow in this video. I got it from amazon

DON’T GARDEN WITH DIAPER HYDROGEL! It is NOT the same as agricultural!

The hydrogel in diapers is NOT the same as for agricultural use, and can CONTAMINATE your soil! The hydrogel in diapers has been chemically formulated to absorb water, but NOT EASILY RELEASE IT! Agricultural Hydrogel is formulated to release the water to the root systems of plants.
While Diaper Hydrogel will work, it is NOT as efficient, and is potentially HAZARDOUS, it is NOT meant for agriculture. Go to a landscaping business or even Home Depot, and get the PROPER PRODUCT.

Differences between Diaper and Agricultural Hydrogels:
    "Type for plants –
As a water retaining agent, it will absorb & release water in soil last for months (Pack Rain will last for years) and won’t be decomposed.

    Type for diapers –
As a water absorbing material, its water gel will be never to release water until decomposed in few weeks.

And, the SAP in diapers will release acrylamide when SAP water gel melting.

Tip: acrylamide is a kind of cancerogenic substance."

This does work, I still use these method for my plants that really loves moisture. The longer you let the water sit the fluffier the fibers get. Great video.

Or it could of been the Miracle grow you were suppose to dilute in water first ( maybe next time reading the directions won’t hurt?)
