I love the dollar store, but I’m realizing everything available there is made in China or Vietnam or some other Asian countries. I don’t want to keep buying products from the dollar store if the products are coming from inhumane working environments or child laborers. I’ve tried researching but have been unable to come up with anything definitive. So I thought I’d ask you! Do you know?? Is this something you’ve ever considered?? 😊💜

Those "splotchy" areas are generally from rust…. but the black paint looks good too. All my old enamel were has red around the rim but the black is really cute. All your projects are really cute

All are so very cute! I’ve done the birdhouses but unless you want hornets or wasps nest in them, I enclosed the holes inside and painted it black for the illusion of a open hole.

  17. moonshinegrrl on April 28, 2020 at 4:22 pm

Wow I wish there was a Dollarama near me

  21. Star Child on April 28, 2020 at 4:30 pm

Creative and pretty ideas. Only thing of concern might be if the fairy lights are indoor and therefore might short if got rained on or water collected in can with batteries might not be safe/ fire hazard? Possible solutions: add clear sealant or tubes over lights and possibly seal off can opening.

  22. Janet Reagin on April 28, 2020 at 4:32 pm

Have the bird houses held up in rain? I thought white blue was washable, so I’m curious to see how well they stayed together. Your garden is beautiful! I love the watering can, herb planter and the garden sign. Those were my favorites.

  23. carmen Fernandez on April 28, 2020 at 4:32 pm

I want to try it right now. Good idea!

  25. Lacey Houghton on April 28, 2020 at 4:33 pm

The birdhouses are pretty, but wouldn’t the reflective roofs scare them away? Like when people hang old CDs to protect their plants.

  26. Lyndsay Lengel on April 28, 2020 at 4:33 pm

So hard to choose between the fairy light watering can and the darling birdhouses! Great tutorials as always. Thanks for the inspiration.

  37. Dawn Roberts on April 28, 2020 at 4:46 pm

I like the watering can the best I think it would be better if you could put the battery pack in something waterproof like a sandwich bag+wrap sellotape around it then the rain would not damage the batterys inside the battery pack love all the stuff you’ve made well done.💕

  38. Marie Driskell on April 28, 2020 at 4:46 pm

The light spray and the bird housed, loved them.🥰😘👌🧡💚🦜🐦🐤🍃🌷

  43. Jane Houck on April 28, 2020 at 4:49 pm

How do you keep the battery pack, on the fairy lights, from getting wet when it rains since it would damage it?

  44. Frugal Mama on April 28, 2020 at 4:51 pm

how to you keep the fairy lights weather proof?

  45. Rachel Cranfield on April 28, 2020 at 4:52 pm

Love all these ideas! I wonder about the fairy lights with it being a battery. How will it hold up when it’s raining? Great ideas!!

  46. Patti 1962 on April 28, 2020 at 4:54 pm

I LOVE this video! I have been wanting to make name plaques for my grandchildren (for their rooms). So I am excited to use your idea of tracing a printed word on a wooden plaque! I will add buttons and fun things to make them look finished!
