DIY STRING LIGHT POSTS

DIY STRING LIGHT POSTS

I had so much fun making these, although not perfect i think they turned out pretty well!
This project cost me about $200, but it totally depends on which pots, plants, lights etc that you choose thatll decipher your cost!

In the UK we have post concrete which would have been easier but it all looks so good.

So I went and bought the mixer bit thing for my drill! It looks to be the same one you bought. Does that black cap thing at the end of it come off before you insert it in the drill? Or does it go in the drill too? Thank you!!

Thanks for the tips but I have a tip for you next time wear a mask. Those chemicals are very harmful and can cause cancer.. I was freaking out watching you pour the concrete into the bucket.

I love how you did it by yourself! My husband won’t help me do anything and I think I an do this by myself too! I love your chairs and color scheme! Very clean and modern!

Looks Good! I was getting so nervous when I saw the pots… I was like "she should’ve gone with a wider base"… and then yep! You figured it out! Then when you said "tent stakes"… I was yelling at the monitor "JUST CONNECT IT TO THE FENCE!!!" LOL… And you did. Thanks for showing the struggles with DIY and not just the awesome outcome! I’m a total go-getter myself. Git’er’done!

Good idea but, it looks dangerous for children and pets

Wow what a cool idea. Just curious if you used pressure treated wood or if you used a sealer. Water and wood don’t mix well. Also concrete drys out wood which can cause the wood to crack (I think).
