A few weeks ago I used a Dollar Tree paddle cutting board, painted it and used wood letters to write out; happiness is homemade. I had a miniature rolling pin from an old project and glued it to the cutting board & it looks great. I have several little decor pieces & baskets hanging from cup hooks I installed under my cabinets.

I just made jars for my kitchen too. I used the large wide mouth mason jars!! Tfs❀ I love all of these DIYs!! I had that same rolling pin years ago but got rid of it because it wasn’t wide enough for my hands not to get in my dough, I bought just a long same size rolling pin like DT sells now!! I so could of made your decorative rolling pin!! Bummer!! πŸ˜‚πŸ€—β€

Can you put mode podge gloss over the finished roller…

  44. JoDell Moon on March 24, 2019 at 8:19 pm

Do you bake your jars? That would keep them from losing anymore paint

Just and idea πŸ’‘. How about glue the ribbons and letters in place and at the ends put a little piece of velcro so you can remove it to wash and put back.

Love mason jars the most. And like the tip in comments about clear gloss coat. As I wondered how to keep it from coming off and the painted word comment too!
