Cute clever ideas ! Shape-wear bathing suits are actually a thing , maybe try that ?

  3. Mildred King on June 2, 2019 at 10:25 pm

Hi… your makeover….it looks fabulous!! For the privacy issue…get some rope and an attractive shower curtain and string it across. Thatโ€™s what I did. I have a gazebo that the next door neighbors could look out the upstairs window and see me and the grandkids……soooooooo….I strung up a solid shower curtain and over lapped the edges for a closure. I couldnโ€™t see the windows and they couldnโ€™t see me…..but your space looks so nice….thanks for sharing….Mil ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ

Such great ideas! Would love to see how you organize your shed…mine is in the same condition! ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Love your patio! Lands End has awesome swimsuits! I even found one on
Lattice panels. The poly ones go up quickly and last!
Or a simple frame with inexpensive sheers. The Shower curtain idea was brilliant, but sometimes you need something longer. Hint, you can buy three and cut one in half crosswise and sew on the bottoms of the other two.

Tankini with shorts is my go to. Love your patio transformation

  7. Karen Buchanan on June 2, 2019 at 10:30 pm

I got my plus size bathing suits at forever 21 and they fit well….
However I love the turnout of your backyard makeover and color scheme ..๐Ÿ’ž

Hello from another Big Girl with a hot tub.
I have lived through pretty much the same experience with my senior neighbor.
I’m getting a little too old to care now, but one "remedy" was to have my towel wrapped around me until it was time to step into my unlit hot tub. I leave the towel where I can grab it as I step from the tub. Only thing worse than a billowy suit is a wet billowy suit, dripping all over the place.
That Birthday Suit is just right for the hot tub. Enjoy it!
    Love ya!

  9. Thea Johnston on June 2, 2019 at 10:33 pm

LOL!! Your porch was cute but your story made my day!!! Iโ€™ve had that issue with the suit as well but never with the neighbors part!! Iโ€™m crying !!! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  10. Tee Frazier on June 2, 2019 at 10:35 pm

    Girl you did that ๐Ÿ˜

  11. Carlene Greene on June 2, 2019 at 10:36 pm

There are lots of suits "tankinis" that come with shorts. Full, roamans, woman within…all have mix and match tops and bottoms. You can get a couple of tops and a ton of bottoms…keep checking for the sales and you will be rewarded.

  12. Dawn on June 2, 2019 at 10:38 pm

I say "Nakey Time!!! Big osterage feather fans? Golf umbrella! Or just opt for sturdy clothesline. Run it from the jungle gym to the roofline. Add cheap long ikea curtains on ring clips. Poof! Instant privacy fence. "71x 71" shower curtain $1.99 Sew end to end for twice the hight and weight hem with gravel or washers so THEY don’t billow. Could double as a zip line too! For "Nakey Zipline Time" they have curtains 118" long too.

  13. Miriam Baver on June 2, 2019 at 10:39 pm tankini with swim shorts eliminates most of the billowing … enjoy.

  14. Linda Catz on June 2, 2019 at 10:40 pm

I dont know how big your hot tub is, but a quick, not to much work fix could also be one of those pop up summer shades for picnics, then just attach shower curtains or outdoor privacy curtains to the roof frame using clips or safety pins. It might cost a bit more, but it’ll be quick and easy to make and ready.

  15. George Hellion on June 2, 2019 at 10:40 pm

What a joke!!!!!! Majority of your patio is not dollar tree and neither is the decor!!!!!!!!!

  16. Stella Rodriguez on June 2, 2019 at 10:40 pm

I’m a size 22 so I know what you’re going through :). I wear tank top and cheap Capri short’s (black). Of course a robe that you leave behind helps. Hope that helps.

I am a bigger girl myself and the only thing i can wear besides the huge tent is a tankini. I buy the separates because I am different size on top. But I have the top which is like a tank top and the bottoms are shorts but they hug my legs and dont balloon out. Got my bottoms at Walmart.

  19. Amaris Moss on June 2, 2019 at 10:44 pm

I have the same problem when I get in the hot tub! You may want to look at They have all kinds of styles for plus sizes and they also have great sales. I think theyโ€™re also on eBates too.

  20. Barbara Kelly on June 2, 2019 at 10:44 pm

Just get yourself a nice pair of black knickers and matching black bra, it will look like swimwear, and youโ€™ll look hot. Go girl ๐Ÿน๐Ÿฅ‚

  21. Jennifer Anderson on June 2, 2019 at 10:45 pm

Try Woman Within online , the best swim outfits!

  23. Kelley Madden on June 2, 2019 at 10:48 pm

Someone may have commented this already but Walmart has the cutest gingham retro plus swimsuit in multiple colors. It was $24 USD I think (getting it in Turquois for myself). I wouldn’t wear an expensive suit in the hot tub. Maybe its just a florida thing but the amount of chlorine required to keep a hot tub clean has ruined several of my swimsuits over the years. Even when i rinse them thoroughly after use (again… could be a Florida thing… our tap water is also heavily chlorinated here). Love your channel!

How did you hang that chandelier?

  25. dfquiles819 on June 2, 2019 at 10:49 pm

You are hilarious …i love it
How about a folding fence or tent with curtains for your hot tub…good luck ๐Ÿ˜

  26. Stephanie Ali on June 2, 2019 at 10:50 pm

Iโ€™m plus size and you should try the bathing suits with the shorts & top. Less flowy. Nice patio

  27. ThisIs Me on June 2, 2019 at 10:50 pm

That was absolutely beautiful and I could NOT tell that was an old table. Looks like you just bought it. Love your videos and your personality ๐Ÿค—

I just found you this morning and I love your ideas. Thanks for sharing.

  31. Suzy Woozy on June 2, 2019 at 10:54 pm

Ok , I used to be a woman of substance, they sell one piece suit types in the plus ranges. I used to buy the dresses to hide my legs. You can wear the one piece and just wrap in a cover up or towel….now how about a small sun sail or some lattice you can frame up…or even build a three panel frame and fill it in with twigs and fold it up when not using…just an idea. ….best wishes.

  32. cassie rennoldson on June 2, 2019 at 10:56 pm

Could you just wear underwear bottoms & a tank top?

  33. TheDorthew on June 2, 2019 at 10:56 pm
Here you can find swimsuits without a skirt.

  34. Diane Bay on June 2, 2019 at 10:57 pm

Hook a triangled tarp to the kids play house then angle it down to the fence and hook it on there. That way the kids have a shaded area and the neighbors can’t see the hot tub!!

  35. Lisa Medeiros on June 2, 2019 at 10:58 pm

Wow ! What a creative beautiful patio! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’•

  36. Vania Hite on June 2, 2019 at 11:00 pm

I love your videos! I have an open deck that I never used, because I hated the lack of privacy. So I made a PVC frame (1-inch pipes), like the ones YT photographers and beauty vloggers use to create a backdrop. Instead of using shower curtains, as everyone suggested, I made a curtain out of a tropical pattern DT plastic table cover (trimmed to the right height for my frame); clear duct tape (to reinforce the top and bottom edges); a 4-dollar grommet kit from Harbor Freight(!); clear double shower curtain hooks from Dollar General. Then I hung DT tablecloth weights from the bottom. It looks nice (it would look even nicer if the pipes were painted or stained to match my house), and it costs less than $20.00 ($40.00, if you don’t own a PVC pipe cutter). And it was fun to make! I did buy white DT shower curtains to use this summer, just for heightened convenience.

    Wow!! That’s a big Dollar Store ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

  39. Laura Stitt on June 2, 2019 at 11:03 pm

You can get swim shorts relatively inexpensively on Amazon and then just add a flattering top, be it bikini style or tankini. You can also do straight-up unskirted one-piece. I would generally go for the shorts and top just because I HATE having to peal myself out of a wet 1 piece to go to the bathroom. This can be a just for the hot tub suit and then just use your regular swimsuit for public pools and such. Hope this helps!

  41. Erica Gendreau on June 2, 2019 at 11:09 pm

Lol lol lol I would wear a pair of shorts and a sports bra lol lol better than being caught naked lol lol and keep a towel near by

  42. Sarah R. Trenchard on June 2, 2019 at 11:10 pm

Just wear a big girl bikini. Your at home in your own yard so who cares, it’s kinda naked but not?

  43. Valerie Gill on June 2, 2019 at 11:11 pm

  48. Amber Jacobs on June 2, 2019 at 11:21 pm

  49. Jeannine Huskey on June 2, 2019 at 11:22 pm

Tall lattice panels ($20 ea) for privacy?

  50. Pauline Robles on June 2, 2019 at 11:23 pm

WOW! I love this video.what a great way to decorate the patio. You could buy the solar lights at Dollar tree and put them down in potted dirt for some light. As for the hot tub get a pair of draw string shorts and a tank top from Walmart.
