Chartered Horticulturalist & Broadcaster David Domoney wants to inspire you to embrace gardening and nature. Our natural world has an incredible impact our health and wellbeing. David strongly believes that through the positive power of plants you can grow happiness and contentment in your life. In this session David will prescribe plant and nature activities specific to a list of health issues to show people how time spent outdoors can help if you’re suffering from stress, anxiety, headaches, depression, loss, loneliness and other mental and physical health concerns.

    David, I can’t recall exactly when I first saw you on TV, but it must have been a good 15 or 20 years ago now. While I haven’t suffered from most of the issues that you discuss in this video – I’d just like you to know that you have been a great inspiration to me since i was in my early 20’s. If I can be as much of an inspiration to someone else – I will feel like I’ve achieved something in life. I just wanted you to know that.

    I have Major Depressive Disorder and my most recent episode, I found a place to calm my mind by simply planting seeds from veggies and fruits from the store. At the time I didn’t realize that just having some project and something to take care of would help my depression a bit, but it does.
