Maps on walls ewww. That’s so ugly. Seriously not an improvement. And the scarves on the ceiling? First, fire hazard, second you’ll be stepping on thumbtacks as they fall out, third if their are leaks call the landlord they need to know it could be dangerous and forth it’s super ugly reminds me of a Russian granny’s home.

  2. Dora Fonseca-Blount on July 30, 2019 at 2:47 pm

    all great and awesome ideas

  3. Kellie Westley on July 30, 2019 at 2:49 pm

wondering full idea I wish you could do ovoice over for the.one who zounds like a robot.

  4. Jacquelyn Groton on July 30, 2019 at 2:50 pm

    interesting ideas

  5. MsLouisV on July 30, 2019 at 2:50 pm

NONONONO. HORRIBLE IDEAS. so tacky. Got a problem??? Just cover it up. Take away your pet’s access to necessary water. Simply thoughtless and inhumane. Cover sins with spray paint. Make your dog feel unloved. Lock up their water. Assholes. I just hope people don’t listen to this crap.

  6. Annika Marie on July 30, 2019 at 2:51 pm

    this is helpful thank u

  7. Karle Maye on July 30, 2019 at 2:54 pm

world maps are NOT classic or sophisticated! almost all these tips are tacky. sorry total fail!

  8. Matt You wut m8? on July 30, 2019 at 2:54 pm

This didn’t show me how to hide my face so I’ll consider it clickbait

  9. Al Cookies on July 30, 2019 at 2:58 pm

    That chair was beautiful 🙁

  10. Jeanette Kniebusch on July 30, 2019 at 2:58 pm

Putting a dogs water bowl in a drawer is STUPID because they s always should have access to their WATER! Food bowls great idea.

  11. 765respect on July 30, 2019 at 3:01 pm

My dog’s water bowl is a large Turkish salad bowl and the food bowl is a small matching one. The cat’s use a matching salad plate. They are beautifully painted, easy to clean and a joy to look at. When they break I get a new set in a different design, whatever my new design taste is.

    Janussary: What horrible ideas!!!

  14. Jill y Bean on July 30, 2019 at 3:05 pm

So you’re going to paint every dirty white door with black paint.?!! Just use gloss in the first place and it can be wiped off.! By the time you’ve painted it black, you could have repainted it white.!! 😪

  15. THDGrrrlsRock on July 30, 2019 at 3:05 pm

Most were pretty good and some were great.
But. That marble guy. Wow! 😱

  16. Rebecca Treeseed on July 30, 2019 at 3:07 pm

I have seen these ideas elsewhere, video was stolen.

  17. k8fearsnoart on July 30, 2019 at 3:15 pm

For #20- @13:32, there is a set of pet dishes set into a surround in the bottom of a cabinet that will always be open, the picture is on the right. That one looks great and is also always open for your pet, which is great! However, the picture on the left, with the food and water bowels set into a drawer? NO. PLEASE don’t put your pet’s water dish into a drawer that gets closed! They need fresh water available at ALL times, not just when you feel like feeding them, or on some schedule. Besides; if your decor is more important to you than your pet, don’t get a pet in the first place.

  18. R. L. on July 30, 2019 at 3:15 pm

    You’re Simply Amazing! 👏🏼

  19. Judy Steffen on July 30, 2019 at 3:16 pm

Some of those ideas are simply tacky, temporary fixes and not practical — like using 60 paint stir sticks. Home Depot charges $$ for more than 2 sticks; directions for painting fabric advises that the furniture piece can be discarded if painting does work — usually the piece is unusable; light switch cover is ugly — who is going to stop and read a light switch cover; metallic sharpies fix is ridiculous — usually the sharpie color is not the same shade as the furniture piece. Many of the ideas are exceptionally costly and purchasing a new item or repainting a wall would cost much less. My shower doors are 30 years old and are not hazy because I clean them regularly. Pets need water many times throughout the day and the drawer cannot be closed. Idiotic!!! Where did you get these silly ideas?

  20. Laura Chavez on July 30, 2019 at 3:16 pm

    Love the map idea

  21. Strange & Deranged on July 30, 2019 at 3:16 pm

What if your home is just ugly.

    I mean all of it.

  22. Kimberly Holston on July 30, 2019 at 3:16 pm

When not in use? Really? When not in use? Animals cannot ask for water nor should their hydration be timed. This is the most awful and inhumane suggestion I’ve ever seen on one of these videos. What’s worse is someone may take the advice. Even if it were open the dog could easily push the drawer back in by accident with its nose or body weight. This video should be taken down, edited, and reposted. Period.

  23. Ircar47 on July 30, 2019 at 3:17 pm

Honestly was disappointed by video… Cleaning -should be normal routine , if you have a spots on a ceiling -call landlord -it is simply ,mean something leaking and need to be fix ,it is not that difficult to paint few spots…. It is not that easy to paint washed break wall . When you are in early 20 and a student ,then all headscarfs look very romantic on a ceiling and yes to dressing ceiling not a new idea, but ,its also include a maids or handyman to clean it up ,or amount of dust ,would be a health hazard… It is a good idea to create place for pet food and toilet ,away from everything ,but if food can be scheduled, pets need to have accsses to water and toilet . The paint sticks are not free -only with purchase of the paint ,but they would sell them, as for wood .. instead of plywood that wouldn’t too durable ,it is many places that offer free wood pallets ,or sale them for 2 bucks a pallet -it is a lot of good wood. However ,don’t be discourage ,try to do those things yourself and continued to recycle, reuse and make it nice. Oh,btw why to use thumb tucks ,when now days so much tapes and Velcro -they don’t leave anything. Another advice ,if you are a renter ,it is always a good idea to check with your policy or landlord if you decide to install something – sometimes ,they even pay you back ,if it benefit property. Best regards .

    Scarves on the ceiling? Really?

  25. Denise T on July 30, 2019 at 3:21 pm

At 8:33 the chair was far more beautiful with it’s original rose pattern than the painted plain white.

  26. Dolores Du Bois on July 30, 2019 at 3:22 pm

    I’m sorry…did she say "mur-ALZ" for "murals" ?

  27. Joelyn Lykke on July 30, 2019 at 3:23 pm

    I liked grandma’s chair better.

  28. Susan Fudge on July 30, 2019 at 3:23 pm

Repainting your ceiling is much classier and more permanent than scarves pinned to the ceiling.

  29. Marianna Kovalev on July 30, 2019 at 3:24 pm

    The dog water draw will
    have to remain open
since dog need water excess all the time.

how is watching this and know that he’ll never use these hacks?

  33. Shellie Jones on July 30, 2019 at 3:27 pm

I feel like this idea was more ugly then the mess itself. Except the chalk board door n the faux granite countertop.

  35. Beth Miner on July 30, 2019 at 3:31 pm

I’ve always thought about doing an entire wall with maps but I don’t want to use push pins. I will her brave one day and paste maps from all fifty states on the wall.

  36. Grandma Gertie on July 30, 2019 at 3:33 pm

The voice over on this video was horrible.

  37. T Watson on July 30, 2019 at 3:33 pm

My apartment complex did the faux granite countertops in our kitchens and bathrooms. They then raised the rent $100 a month for “upgrades”.

  38. Apoe Dinel on July 30, 2019 at 3:34 pm

Is it just me or is this just Early tacky😜

  39. Whitney Harris on July 30, 2019 at 3:35 pm

if you store your dog’s food/water away you restrict your dog’s access to water and leave it thirsty during most hours of the day

  40. Morningflower J. on July 30, 2019 at 3:36 pm

If anyone wants to attempt crown molding, you’ll need special carpentry tools or you can also buy the corners ( the corner that points outward at the ends.)
If you’ve never dealt with crown molding, l would suggest buying the corners. It is definitely not for a beginner carpenter.

  41. A Mendoza on July 30, 2019 at 3:37 pm

This is all just laziness and cheap. If something needs to be updated or replaced, get it updated or replaced. I guarantee you have the money somewhere, and if you don’t, get off your butt and work for it. Look, something for everyone to finally get off of their lazy asses and work for; a home project.

  42. Snooze00 on July 30, 2019 at 3:37 pm

Any ideas how to hide an ugly water meter dead centre of my lawn?

  43. Belligerent Instigator on July 30, 2019 at 3:38 pm

Why not paint it the correct color so you can still get a good resale value on your house instead of cheaping out on covering it up?

  44. Margarita Lopez on July 30, 2019 at 3:38 pm

I love the tutorial, but not tbe music. Please use a different one.

  45. Audra Hollis on July 30, 2019 at 3:38 pm

good lord what a bunch of horse manure

  46. Lpoleo P on July 30, 2019 at 3:40 pm

Your pets should always have access to fresh water! If you don’t like the look of your pets “ugly bowls “, either buy better looking bowls or don’t have a pet. Wtf

  47. All the boops and mlems on July 30, 2019 at 3:40 pm

The weird marble contact paper "hack" in the middle was kind of ridiculous – who needs to be told to use contact paper for covering things – that’s the whole reason it exists, we don’t need a tutorial. Some of the other ideas are interesting, though I don’t think it’s right to get a bunch of paint stirrers and us them that way – that’s not what they’re for and if ppl start taking more than they actually need, then they’ll start charging us for them. Just buy a single piece of thin pine and cut it the size of paint stirrers and accomplish the same thing without taking paint stirrers. Painting furniture does not turn out well long term. The paint is very stiff and rough and impossible to keep clean. It also cracks fairly easy – not a good suggestion in my opinion.

  48. cyberspaceout on July 30, 2019 at 3:40 pm

okay the scarfs are acute as hell

  49. Not Tryin' To Hear You! on July 30, 2019 at 3:41 pm

If you have stains on you ceiling use Kilz in a spray can. It’s a helluva lot cheaper and far less tacky than a bunch of scarves hiding the problem.

  50. John Henry on July 30, 2019 at 3:44 pm

I think I would rather see my ugly stuff than these suggested ugly ideas. Rarely seen worse ideas.
