Gardening is so therapeutic. When I worked, The first thing I did when I got home is go into the garden to see โ€œhow my babiesโ€ were doing. The planning, trial and error , nurturing and success when it finally worked was so rewarding. Silly compared to my corporate life but โ€œrealโ€.

Gardening is so marvelous to give back to nature, bees need plants and birds need homes and it’s so important. You did a great job. I live about an hour from Chicago in a small house, we have a lot in common we are the same age and I did all the landscaping here, we even got rid of cementย  to plant grass, it’s been a miracle.

Loved seeing this! Yes show your backyard too! I am usually out in my yard doing something if it is not raining! I love lawn ornaments too & have a red ball my daughter gave me that I love & other things! You can see my yard in the second 1/2 of my introductory video which is only 4 minutes in total! As a matter of fact I planted 5 pots/urns today…yes I am a late planter! I no longer order anything either. I just hit several stores every year. I still need to make at least one more trip…lol! Blessings! ; )

  34. Beth Hughes on May 21, 2019 at 10:25 pm

Beautiful garden Beth. Gardening doesn’t come naturally to me, but I just love the look of a beautiful garden. I live in NC and it feels like whatever I plant requires more upkeep than I can physically do. I mess around with annuals, however it gets expensive. I do have several hanging plants in the front but that’s about it. I do have lost and lost of houseplants and I love having those.

  35. Pauline Hannah on May 21, 2019 at 10:25 pm

Hi Beth, the birdsong is beautiful in the background. What kind of birds do you have there in Kansas? Lovely to see your garden. Some plants are quite different to what we have in Ireland but I have geraniums and petunias too on my porch. I also had a robinโ€™s nest in the garden this year and they are such friendly, cheery birds. Mine flew at the window to remind me to put food out xx

  36. Kristan Williams on May 21, 2019 at 10:27 pm

I love to garden too! It would be fun to see the back.
What are the little bushes in the pots right by the door? I have a little porch similar to that and want something there.

  37. Paulette Bowers on May 21, 2019 at 10:27 pm

Hi Beth. Iโ€™m back! Somehow I was unsubscribed to a few of my favorite ladies. Not sure how or why, but Iโ€™m slowly realizing it. Now catching up. Hugs
