Comparing Side-by-Side
If you’re in the market for a solar LED area or floodlight, look no further than the Wagan Tech 1000 Lumen Solar Area Light! It’s completely self contained, waterproof, bright, and needs no wiring! With the included remote control, it is easy to optimize its features to suit your needs!

1K Solar LED Flood Light RC
Bursting out of the shadows and blinding the competition, Wagan Tech has continued to lead the Solar Lighting market with innovation and impressive results. Introducing the Remote Controlled 1000 Lumen Solar LED Flood Light; a compact, bright, waterproof, and completely self-contained Solar Lighting Solution!

Worry-Free Design
A completely self-sufficient and self-contained design, just mount it to any hard surface (fence, pole, wall, tree) and turn on to provide light anywhere you need it. Solar powered and waterproof (IP65 rated), once you can set it up, you can forget about it.

Go Green
Being solar powered (doesn’t use power from the grid) and utilizing long-life energy-efficient LEDs for light, its carbon footprint is minimal. The sun is already providing free energy for you, why not capture it and reduce your energy costs at the same time?! Easily provide light to remote areas without wiring or having to pay the power company.

Providing 1,000 lumens of bright light are the 30 Epistar LEDs mounted beneath a glass lens. Optimized for excellent light dispersion, the reflector provides a broad spread of light to illuminate wide areas. The battery is capable of providing 4 full nights (48 hours) of light on a single charge. The case is made out of tough polycarbonate that is waterproof and built to withstand the elements. With a simple mounting bracket, the light is able to be mounted at the optimal angle of your choosing.

Remote Controlled
One of the most innovative features of the 1K Solar LED Flood Light RC is the remote control. Able to turn the light on/off, switch between high/low modes, and set the timer, the remote control allows you to adjust the settings without leaving the comfort of the indoors or having to climb a ladder!

Where To Use
The 1K Solar LED Flood Light RC is a multi-functional light that can be easily mounted nearly anywhere there is adequate sunlight. Perfect for: the side of a barn, house, pathway, parking lot, front yard, wall wash light, music festivals, camping, RV, camping trailers, expedition trailers, trees on your property, driveway, sidewalk, remote locations, off-grid property, landscape lighting, warehouses, or anywhere you need wireless lighting outdoors!

I have three of the Solar Force lights I bought at Costco. I have them on three trees, about 15′ up the tree. I’ve had them up about three years now. They work well during the summer, but that is not when I really need them. During the winter in the PNW, where it is cloudy during the day, along with short days, the lights are about half brightness at night. Enough to walk or drive by, but often not enough for me to see what is tripping the motion detector from the house (usually a racoon, skunk or porcupine) and the motion detection is limited. The good thing about these lights is that the wing lights can be adjusted for where they shine.

I don’t want lighting all night long – only when motion is detected or when I want to turn it on so I can go out to the mailbox or shop. I need a remote that can turn all lights on from 100 to 200 feet so I can see what is outside without going outside. I only have AC power on my house and my shop, with about 100 yards in between, so solar with a powerful battery is good.

This video would be better if it showed the lights working in a real environment.
