Outdoor Home Grow Ep 04 – Flowering Your Cannabis Plants

In this video we teach you how to gauge what week of flowering you’re in, how weather will affect flowering outdoors, how to spot mold and minimize it’s harm, final flushing and anticipating when to harvest based on weather.

This is the home stretch, an exciting time where you’ll see the most changes in bud development but it’s also the hardest stretch to navigate when growing outdoors.

Welcome to the BlueSky organics OUTDOOR growing series.

In these 5 videos, we’ll cover seed selection for outdoor growing, photoperiod vs auto flower growing, site preparation, the different stages of plant growth, the importance of monitoring weather and how it can affect your plants, how to avoid pests and mould, when and how to harvest your outdoor plants and how to dry and cure your buds. After watching these videos you’ll be able to grow outdoors like a pro.

This yr has been a an up and down temperature wet and dry. Plants already flowered and budded. Now I’m getting fresh leaves again. Limbs are taking off growing like mad. Took what buds that were on them. Have two plants same kind. One was more difficult. The ground I thought was soil is a more clay when wet and has an orange tint to it. I dug out a bunch around the plants. Put some fresh soil in holes except one I didn’t clean as much so it’s not growing as much as the other girl. Anyways ? is now what do I do with the girl that is growing? She still has some smaller buds on her that have the white hairs and is growing new leaves like starting all over again. It has one or three leaves on new growth. Normal right? Like it’s starting life all over again. Except what should I do about flushing the old buds and be able to give her ingredients for growth? Strange never seen this before. I have a greenhouse for them. Let them see the straight sun whenever possible. I’m right here bye Salem, Or. Sure your familiar with the weather this yr? Oh yeah I forgot the name of the plants lost the tags for them with name. Anyways I hope this makes sense to you. Thanks for your time in reading my message. I’m lost on this yr. maybe gaining some future grow. Get back to me please. Thanks again. Mike

Am I stoned? I didn’t understand the flushing part. Does that mean to just hose down the plants a week or 2 before harvest? I don’t have pH balanced water etc…. I’m in Los Angeles weather.

I started seeds inside around the beginning of April, under grow lights. I move them out everyday, bring them in at night under the lights. When can I safely move them outside for good, and stay in veg .I am hoping they don’t flower till August.I live in Hawaii, so cold is not an issue.

So do I still need to flush if I’m growing organically (no fertilizer/chemicals)?

I added my first plant to my vegetable garden this year. Our beds are over wintered with kitchen scraps, cardboard and manure (chicken, Horse & goat). I never have to fertilize with all the organic material in the beds and plants are huge.
