How to cover ugly walls for free (almost)

I’m tired of looking at my neighbor’s ugly wall so I decided to cover it with the pallets and a few pine beams that I have. I didn’t use any finish on the pallets because I like the weathered look. And it just get’s better over time. You can find pallets almost everywhere for free and the only thing I needed to buy are the wall anchors and the screws. So I don’t really care if I have to remake it in a couple of years.

Thank you very much for watching!

Big thanks to all my patrons especially Sithis Michaelis and Larry Radcliffe !

Hola muy bien super pero Le falto lo más importante envenenar la madera de las polillas

  9. Cleiton Lima on May 30, 2020 at 5:42 pm

Antes de colocar essa madeira você deveria olhar se elas tão firme mesmo as paredes e fazer um reboco bem firme entendeu

Pallet wood is untreated it won’t last

  11. brad smith on May 30, 2020 at 5:44 pm

i gotta ask ya ..how many splinters did ya get cause of handling all that wood i know ya got several. but you still went with the no glove look. annnddd no finish applied..why? basica;lly you put up hundreds of woods and nothing climatic on a time spent project.

Great video and lovely finish to the wall..

Although how the hell is this ‘Free-Almost’ ???

The amount of wood you have there would cost quite a substantial amount. The chances of obtaining that much wood free is very slim!

Also, the tools you use to cut the wood, not everybody has. And so it would cost a small fortune to have these cut, then transport for them if you do not drive.

the term Free or Almost free does not apply here under any circumstances or at least should be followed by ‘if you own the specific power tools and specific amounts of wood.

no sub from me at this time due to this.

  18. Desert Rose on May 30, 2020 at 5:53 pm

personally Id stain the fence or paint it. either way much better than the ugly walll.

  19. id104335409 on May 30, 2020 at 5:56 pm

It looks like it would be cheaper and faster to just plaster the wall and make it look like the other half of the building.

  32. DuartJansen on May 30, 2020 at 6:11 pm

The endresult is stunning, love it! Good idea to use a reprosaw to get rid of those nasty nails, those are always a pain in the ass, and some nails are so though you will wreck the pallet first before getting them out! Great job!

  33. PhreshFunk on May 30, 2020 at 6:11 pm

I must be the only one thinking those walls look charming

  34. Cherise Stone on May 30, 2020 at 6:13 pm

Your neighbour should have definitely taken some of the responsibility but you have done a great job and it looks stunning. I really enjoyed the way the video was done too without music. New sub! 😁👌
