Kevin’s story is what happens when parents hand everything to their kids. He never had his own identity, no self worth, no purpose. His brother thankfully did it on his own.
“There are some haters out there” I can’t with this man 😂😂
they should’ve taken all of Keven hoard to a warehouse for sorting and not in the street
Just evict him, fix the apartment and rent it to someone who’d appreciate a home.
How is someone with a trust fund at risk for homelessness? Is this why homeless vets can’t get help?
"The landlord saved his and other tenant’s lives with that eviction".
Why is it these people never get 5150’d?!

"I would say a time limit for going through and closing a hording situation would be approximately 45 days".
That makes no sense for one man to hoard that much in an apartment. He needs help. After cussing at volunteers, good luck.
Pretty sure Lee is a tweaker trying to get money for drugs
Really makes you think about buying used stuff from.thrft stores, flea markets, and yard sales.
Had Kevin experienced a lost that resulted in his hoarding behavior? He seems to be holding on to things, so he won’t experience feeling separation, and result in a feeling of control.
I’m barely 10mins in and, I found myself cleaning out my purse.
"Who cares if Kevin gets evicted; that, would be a blessing – big time"!!
loved
Every time people gotta help move some stuff it’s a fight 🤣 just seems like human nature it just has to happen
Anyone else think Dr. Chabaud looks kind of extra radiant and chipper this episode? Super adorbs. My heart goes out for these people, at least Kevin doesn’t have any kids!!
These people deserve one place. Assisted living.
Does NY not have a mental health act he could have him held on? If he is getting a trust fund maybe a conservatorship might work?
That’s why I hate living in apartments or condos I was living in a luxury condo and there were cockroaches because the downstairs neighbor was filthy!!! It was awful they had to treat all the apartments and bomb his unit and even sealed it! Disgusting
Ahhhhh, all those people touching their faces with their dirty gloves on. I’m so cringing!
Asking the neighbors to tattle, lol.
Management is definitely at fault for letting this build up for so long. Even if you do own your apartment, management should do a yearly check…handle the problem long BEFORE it gets out of control like this.
Ive been cleaning my room. I have to take the bags out, cause if it sits long i find myself going through the bag and dragging stuff out , and putting it back.
Mary tugs at my heart strings. She seems so sad and lost. She has such a good heart and her nostalgia for the past has just taken over her life
The cobwebs on the chandelier are also authentic Victorian!!! Hahahaha
"If people were trying or attempting to sell him drugs or something – he avoided it perfectly".
Mary was born in the wrong time. 😕
Dorthy just snapped 🤣
Mary did 25 years in the military???? As what, a TANK?!
Never learned to be self sufficient. Maid and cooks? never learn.
Imagine having a house and stuff but still being basically homeless -_____-
I have hundreds of vintage carebears!
Anyone else constantly itch while watching these episodes?
"They need help with all of it; other people need to do it for them… it’s too late for them to do it / therapy (10 years or more needed to get going on being recovered)".
I’m so sorry to say but why is Kevin’s building manager still employed?
"It may be best for the hoarder themselves to not be around when the entire process takes place on the removal of the entire hoard itself".
"Like someone mentioned before – maybe the lot should be leveled; and -> simply sell the lot of land itself".
Kevin’s story is what happens when parents hand everything to their kids. He never had his own identity, no self worth, no purpose. His brother thankfully did it on his own.
Kevin need serious help 😂
Nope. These animals are simply defective DNA and need to be euthanized so the rest of us can get on with life. Ridiculous.
At least Mary has good taste.
kenny why do yall have that OLD tv?

My apartment complex sprays for pests twice a year. I guarantee you if they couldn’t open the front door … they’ld get an immediate "clean up or eviction" notice. Problem solved.👊
This is exploitation of people with genuine, horrible mental disorders.
I really don’t feel bad for these people at all.. like none!!
They need 200 people to clean out them houses 8 to 10 people is not enough
Kevin is the new gen Collyer Bros.
That lady is on opioids she needs rehab
