I hope to have a decent herbal garden next spring – need to read up – any suggestions for decent books to purchase/loan from a library ??
Thank you for sharing all you do. I have learned so very much from your YouTube videos, and canโt wait to start planning our garden. Unfortunately, we live in an apartment right now and donโt have the space or opportunity to have any sort of garden. We canโt even have a container garden outside our door! Anyway, weโre looking to move into a house next summer and will be planting a fall garden next year. Also, I am looking forward to your Organic gardening course in October!
Really enjoyed this video! You are a wonderful teacher. Thank you!
Thanks for informative video

Off topic, but you look gorgeous in that dress! I want to buy one for myself. Where did you get it? I love all the herbal videos. I’m a newbie to the world of herbs and enjoy learning more.
Great share as always! Beautiful!
Let me know if you enjoyed this video and what herbal flowers you’re growing for medicine and what else you’d like to learn about so I can make sure and create that video ๐

The link for the course comes up broken for me. Love the info though! We are currently between places so we aren’t growing any herbs right now. However I just recently made my own salve with oil infused with calendula and its is my favorite! So many good results!
Im gonna get one of those takes. I have a full quart jar dried so you can imagine how much I picked!!! I just made calandula salve. I added a few drops of lavender oil to mine.
Great information!
awe, what else can i add. may be, as i am a beginner: but that video just opened my eye to at least 2 new worlds. cosmetic and medicinal herbs, right in my backyard.
We already have plenty of echinacea and lavender. I’ll be growing lovely marigolds and chamomile (camomille).
This is such a great channel Deercreek homesteading loves it
I grew calendula from seed last year for the first time. I already have little seedlings popping up in my beds from last season. I use it for my healing salves and face lotion and soups also. Love your videos. So informative.

Love this, Melissa!! I’ve gardened for over 45 years and love that you do things the way I was taught growing up. I received both of your books as a gift from my parents! Love them! Thank you for staying true to the old ways. Sometimes change doesn’t have to happen to be good.
I love this one
