DIY White Balloon Decor | Dollar Store Happy Birthday Sign | Pallet Birthday Decor

DIY White Balloon Decor can look too plain sometimes and in this tutorial I’ll show you how to make it look fun and elegant. You won’t believe how easy this balloon arch is to make! (spoiler alert: I used tape and a hole punch) I’ll also show you how to make a fun custom Dollar Store Happy Birthday Sign that can be re-used and will wow your guests. We made this backdrop using an old pallet that was stained and prepped prior to this. You can’t go wrong with pallet birthday decor!! It brings in the perfect rustic vibe.

  4. Sierra Phillips on May 19, 2020 at 5:03 pm

Hi . How did you attach the balloon garland to the backdrop?

  5. Gloria Mensah on May 19, 2020 at 5:04 pm

Beautiful arch!!. I have a few questions about your technique. Are you inserting the balloons through the non adhesive side of the tape? I am assuming that the adhesive side of the tape is what you are using to attach to the pallet? Or do you use additional items for reinforcing the tape (with the balloons) to the pallet? So just a clarification on how you are attaching the tape strips with the balloons to the pallet? And in other to create the arch effect, are you putting strips of tape (with the balloons inserted) the entire horizontal and vertical lengths of the pallet? Thank you!

  7. Heather L on May 19, 2020 at 5:05 pm

Thank you for your technique so in another word we don’t need those expensive balloon arch anymore. My daughter’s birthday is in December gathering ideas for her double digits birthday party. I’m trying to stay on a budget as well so thats my way to go.

Hi !! I actually found you on Pinterest & I immediately subscribed lol. This is such an awesome DIY & by far the simplest version of doing a balloon arch. I just wanted to know how you did ths pallet in the background. Is it budget friendly? I’m having my daughter’s party next weekend, so I would love to recreate this entire look. Thank you!

That Tape technique is super awesome!!!!!! You’re a genius 👍I’ve been looking to purchase those readymade ones on Amazon for an official event coming up but not sure if we’re allowed to buy online for office events so I was really confused, upset and wondering what to do to make these balloon archs for the upcoming office garden party on a low budget and without shopping online. You’re really a life saver and THANK YOU so so much for this super awesome hack 😘😘😘

I love your Happy Birthday sign. I want to make a Merry Christmas sign for my decorations this year. I was thinking about ordering wooden lettering from 48hr. Monogram on Amazon. For the size I want it will cost me close to $100 w/ shipping. Now that I see how awesome your free hand letters came out I’m going to try it out myself. If they come out good Ill be saving a ton of money. Wish me luck.

  48. Valerie Jenkins on May 19, 2020 at 6:01 pm

To get the custom confetti to stick in the clear balloons, add a few drops of clear school glue to the inside of the uninflated balloon. Massage the glue around the inside. The add the confetti and inflate.
