What kind of tree was that you put the brick around? When it gets big does its roots grow on top the grown? Wondering because of the roots breaking the brick apart.

  5. Mary Molnar on April 6, 2019 at 8:04 pm

What color did you use to paint the concrete?  Was that cement that you placed the bricks on around the tree?

  6. Daniela Horvath on April 6, 2019 at 8:09 pm

The color has destroyed it for me, has looked much better without the ugly gray. At least in my opinion

  7. Alia Cabonialda on April 6, 2019 at 8:09 pm

Curb appeal is nothing but modern day myth by your local assessor to pry more money from your hard earned butt, I mean wallet.
I wish this close to listened to their sale pitch and subscribe the magazine.  But you get what you pay for I guess?  The magazine are full of cockery and utensils and as seen on TV ads, plus worthless "can be found for free" recipes.
But I will definitely subscribed when I have my own place, with garden, RV, BBQ, and all.  It is so photogenic!!!  Beautiful.

    Was not wish, typo.

You could have fixed that trip hazard a lot cheaper and easier with Poly Foam leveling.

  23. Emma G on April 6, 2019 at 8:25 pm

This is a great DIY for the budget even now. $1000 AUS is about £600 Sterling at the moment so considering all the bits & bobs Jason did on this project (not incl. labour obvs.)…….it’s a great job very well done 🙂

When you have a fence, but it only goes along the front and the sides are wide open. ????

  37. R Bear on April 6, 2019 at 8:45 pm

I don’t know where you get doing it for $1000. use bricks cost $2.00 or $3.00 each in my area of New england and a fence like the one you put up would cost all most $500. add in plants sod and your cost have gone over $1000. I’m guessing in OZ things are cheaper than in the USA.

Sadly, this garden make-over was destroyed shortly after it was publically broadcast. An Islamic terror group claimed responsibility. You can’t have anything nice! :- /

  43. Chris Scheffler on April 6, 2019 at 8:54 pm

What’s the point of the sidewalk in the yard if there’s no sidewalk to the road? Should have put bricks all the way to the curb. And painting concrete just looks tacky.

  44. edelina silva on April 6, 2019 at 8:55 pm
